Description

This cozy little 2 up, 2 down cottage sits right on the Peddars Way Long Distance Path, which joins the North Norfolk Coastal path. It is peaceful and quiet without being isolated, a perfect retreat for time alone or a happy family holiday.

It sleeps 4 people, in two bedrooms, a double and a twin and has a long, enclosed back garden with a swing seat, and parking for two cars at the front. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a living room with log burner, and a shower/bathroom. To make the most of the peace of this pretty corner of North Norfolk there is no TV or landline phone. It is a real retreat, comfortable, simple and cozy.

The cottage is perfect for a family holiday, a winter wilderness retreat, some quiet study time, a honeymoon hideaway, a twitchers’ haven, or just a weekend away with friends.

The nearest pub, the King William, is about half a mile away in the village, and does excellent food and good beers.
The main attractions of this area are the endless sandy beaches for long, windy walks in winter or family days building sandcastles in the summer. There are also miles of salt marshes with their rich bird life for twitchers, and delicious food found in local pubs, cafes and farm shops of which there are an endless supply

It is best to have a car to discover the area but you can also arrive by train to King’s Lynn (10 miles away) then come on by bicycle, bus or taxi.

You need to bring your own bed linen and towels, but duvets, blankets and pillows are provided.
The cottage is no smoking.
Well behaved dogs by arrangement.
